Our team

Koot is responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of Beyond’s information systems. This includes all aspects, such as the web-based interface (ColdCloud™); configuration and maintenance of all cloud infrastructure (hosted on Amazon Web Services); all data redundancy and business continuity in case of disaster; database design, maintenance and optimisation, as well as data analytics.

He has been with Beyond for just over eight years and has a Diploma in Computer Science (Engineering) with honours from the University of Cambridge.

Koot combines analytical thinking with a passion for learning about what motivates people to think and act the way they do. This enables him to play an integral role in the Beyond team to mobilise technology to advance humanity. He has been integral in developing ColdCloud™.

He enjoys spending time with his family and dogs in his spare time and occasionally tries his hand at playing the guitar.
